Targetted emotional resilience and wellbeing support during the Covid-19 pandemic. For individuals and small groups.
Our new emotional resilience programme provides targeted support to girls during the current pandemic. Many young people have struggled to cope during lock-down; social isolation, lack of routine, a massive disruption to their education and some experiencing difficulties and trauma. A recent Young Minds Survey stated that 83% of young people saw their mental health worsen over lock-down. Two-thirds of a spike in calls to Childline were from girls stating anxiety as their main concern. It’s not surprising that many young people will find it difficult to transition back into school and that a focus on positive mental wellbeing will be greatly needed.
Flourish Rebuild runs over 6, weekly sessions and can be delivered by a member of our team to individuals or to small groups of 2, 3 or 4 young people. Sessions equip students to explore their emotions, find helpful strategies to cope and build resilience.
12, 1-hour sessions of self-esteem and wellbeing support (over an easy to use digital platform or face-to-face where possible during the current pandemic.) This effective and highly engaging one-to-one intervention, delivered through a careful match with one of our trained mentors; gives girls the space to explore the issues affecting them, lift their heads higher, and find ways to move forward.
Our team follow robust safeguarding policy and proceedures and are recruited following our safer recruitment policy, including an enhanced DBS check. You can view our policy here. Contact us: firstname.lastname@example.org, 07732 825 721.
